Nestled in between two pre existing villas in the suburb of Muroor, Abu Dhabi, a traditional style of Architecture with a contemporary twist was requested by the client. With it’s unique circumstances of two twelve meter high Palm Trees that were planted by the client’s forefather, our approach took into consideration the existing design language and the perseverance of the palm trees.

Nōn created an Architecture that maximizes the usage of glass on the exterior skin of the building to blend into its surroundings. Foundation materials used were a combination of concrete structural columns and glass, with only two solid walls to hang unique artwork acquired by the client. A large skylight is placed at the center of the space to capture the top of the Palm Trees which serve as a canopy as the shadows reflect into the space throughout the day.
