NON was commissioned to design and present a proposal for food truck drive thru in Zakher, Al Ain by Spot.

The client wanted to create a ‘theme’ for Spot to be able to roll out at multiple other sites – NON took to designing the entrances, signages, food truck islands, and graphics through the lens of the growing food truck market in the U.A.E.

Our approach was to break the stigma around food trucks being unhealthy fast-foodish offerings that have a sub standard quality of food. The design elevates the spatial environment around the site by drawing inspiration from retro drive-thru aesthetics and applying these to the forms, shapes and colors of the brand elements that engage with the viewer/visitors.

The concept embodies locally found objects and materials at the core of creating a theme for a brand that is connecting travelers along the landscape of the U.A.E and accelerating the food truck market.
